Its specially designed BJT input stage and asymmetrical clipping circuit emulate the break-up and tube-style tones and textures that gigging guitarists agree masterfully capture this iconic character.
The Brownie Distortion retains a powerful, precise low end that gives your basses a boost sans mud.
Meanwhile, its Tone control utilizes a lowpass filter to faithfully reproduce the Variac-effect sonics that are typically achieved via reductions in voltage values going into your amp, arming you with ample tonal versatility.
Plus, the power circuit’s mix of a contemporary low-noise op-amp and dual red-colored LEDs opens the doors for symmetrical clipping, as well.
