As part of Nux’s celebrated Reissue series, the ’59 Bassguy preamp pedal invokes the iconic bass-crafting character of 1959, reimagined for the modern player’s palette of pedalboard potential.
This stompbox’s all-analog circuitry was born from Nux’s meticulous and highly detailed studying of the ’59 Bassguy’s aural ancestor, masterfully capturing the titanic tones of the lauded amp, going as far as to outfit the pedal with a 2-way Jump toggle that emulates the lauded “jumpering” effect found on the original — a feat praised by studio scholars for its ability to instantly activate the brighter-style profile that makes the ’59 amp such a sought-after studio solution to this day.
Armed with Gain, Master, and Tone controls to contour and fine-tune your sound, the Nux ’59 Bassguy brings historic sonic-sculpting capabilities to your setup.
